The Sixth Episcopal District is excited about our upcoming
Retirement Celebration for our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Othal
Hawthorne Lakey. He is celebrating sixteen years of service to our
Episcopal District and a lifetime of service to the Christian
Methodist Episcopal Church. The gala event will be on Friday, March
26, 2010 at the Marriott Riverfront Hotel & Suites in Augusta,
Georgia at 7:00 p.m. We will enjoy an Evening of Elegance with
invitees across the connectional church.
