Full College Scholarships to Morehouse College/FAMU/Savannah State University

 

Navy is aggressively targeting African-Americans, Hispanics and Native Americans into its Nurse Corps and Officer Ranks.  To that end, the Navy offers fully funded four year college scholarships.

NAVY NROTC PROGRAM

Four-year Scholarship:
Full tuition at Morehouse College/Savannah State/ FAMU
The scholarship pays for all colleges/university educational fees
Pays for books
Subsistence allowance each academic month
Room and Board provide at Morehouse College and FAMU
Upon graduation, NROTC Scholarship Program midshipmen are commissioned as officers in Navy.

Navy ROTC Scholarships & FAA Internship Program Summer 2004 

The Florida A&M University (FAMU) is soliciting your help in finding qualified minority candidates interested in attending FAMU or one if not the other Historically Black Colleges or Universities (Morehouse, Tuskegee   University , Norfolk State , Prairie View A. & M. University , Savannah State and Southern University) on a Navy ROTC Scholarship. 

The scholarship is called the Historically Black College Scholarship. 

The criteria for the scholarship is as follows:

1. Must be an African American or Hispanic

2. High School Senior

3. High School GPA 3.0 or better

4. SAT Score 1050 (530 verbal/520 math) or ACT score 22 (22 English/ 22 Math) 

Once information is received their applications will be screened and they will be informed if they will be submitted to Chief of Naval Education and training (CNET) for the scholarship. Prior to awarding the scholarship, a qualified applicant must pass a medical exam, paid for by the Navy. The scholarship pays for tuition, fees, books, uniforms, and a monthly stipend of $200.00. In addition if a student attends FAMU on a NROTC Scholarship, the University offers a limited number of ROOM & BOARD scholarships! The end result is that the student attends college on a FULL RIDE!
